NOTICE OF ENLISTMENT
HELPERS FOR HIRE REGISTRY

This is to announce the opportunity for qualified applicants to be included in a Registry of persons who are available, for hire, to perform services for those who are unable to accomplish such services themselves. These services may include tasks in and around the home such as: errands, housekeeping, transportation, home repairs, meal preparation, yard work, grocery shopping, home improvements, personal grooming, and any other services as needed. To qualify for your listing in this Registry, please pick up an Application form at the Camden or Morgan County Sheriffs' Departments, the Laurie City Hall, or call 573-346-2243. For fingerprinting and a background check, return the completed Application to either the Camden or Morgan County Sheriffs' Departments. While this Registry cannot assure any citizen, who is unable to perform these tasks, that they will not be cheated, it will provide: (1) an added measure of reliability to assist their decision whether to hire for services and (2) an invaluable tool for law enforcement's investigations of complaints. This Registry is endorsed and supported by various local Crime Watch Organizations, such as, Laurie 5-O, 5-33 and 135-3 Crime Watches, local Senior Citizens Groups, such as the Local AARP Chapter #1136, the Westside, Camdenton, and Versailles Senior Centers and The Lake of the Ozarks West Chamber of Commerce.
